Condition: 8, with some scratchs, 1 small deck ding.

Gordie said that 1961 was the year the XKE Jaguar sports car came out and he wanted one. So he numbered all his boards with XKE, this is the 9th board of the year XKE #109

Billy Hamilton's glasser said that he restored this board for a wahine in Hanalei, Kauai in the mid 90's. Blue w/ Wood Fin, very nice decal, show board.

Extremely rare board from Cardiff by the Sea's waterman Dale Woodward. Has his trademark white pigmented bottom so the glass would not yellow when you leave it in the sun.
Some slight pressure spots, nicks on rails, overall clean.

Unigue foam rails w/ fiberglass bottom.

George Greenough influence as a designer is legendery, here is a modified Greenough spoon by Newport's 'House of Paipo'. With the thick foam rails and flexible glass only bottom. These where the pocket rockets of the era. Tube tested and proven to fit tighter in the 'Green' room.
