We are proud to announce the sale of part of Richard
Graham's surf publishing collection. Graham's
publishing record reads like an historical
documentation of the 60's surfing magazine and books.

Richard was responsible for Petersen's Surfing
Yearbook 1963 - 1964(?), Petersen's Surfing Magazine
1963 - 1964, Surfing Action Around The World 1965 -
1967, and the founder (along with Leroy Grannis) of
International Surfing Magazine 1968 - 1972 that is
presently published as Surfing Magazine.

As an author Graham wrote "Surfing Made Easy" (1962)
that was technically edited by Hobie Alter and
illustrations by brother Robert Graham. Richard also
wrote the book "Kings Of The Surf" (1969) with Ross
Olney. In February'02, The Huntington International
Surfing Museum opened a permanent exhibit inspired by
his Kings Of The Surf book. Please stop by and support
the Museum's wonderful effort to preserve surfing's
past (www.surfingmuseum.org).

Presently Richard is the president of Neofin, Inc.,
the manufacturer and marketer of the world's most
advanced line of swim fins dedicated to specialty
water sport activities (surfing; spear fishing;
snorkeling; fitness swimming; and competitive swim
training) ... www.neofin.com .

Everything we sell will come with a letter signed from
Richard on some wonderful old stationery that we
found, wrapped in Mylar with acid free backing boards.
Please feel free to e-mail any questions.
